The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Our experience was troubling from the start. The room we stayed in had such low standards. there were dirty linens and a heavy smoke odor in a nonsmoking room. To make matters worse, the furniture was broken, and we found moldy walls in the bathroom, which made us feel quite unsafe during our stay.

great access to parks and historic landmarks for weekend exploration
I found the hotel to be perfectly situated just moments away from notable sites such as the Lincoln Home National Historic Site and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, which made my weekend strolls enjoyable and enriching, as I could easily immerse myself in the rich history of Springfield without worrying about transportation.

We enjoyed our visit, especially the comfortable large beds that were perfect after a long day. The staff made check-in easy, which was a plus with two small kids in tow.
For dads, it would be great if rooms were cleaner.

The room was cozy, and I really enjoyed watching the birds chirp outside my window while sipping coffee. I loved the comfy lounge area and the peaceful courtyard that helped me unwind after a long day. One thing I noticed was the occasional noise from the hallway, but it didn't stop me from having a great time! 👍

Had a great time with friends! We explored the local zoo and visited a nearby museum. The staff was super friendly, and the room was clean and comfy. Just a heads up, the vending machine selection was a bit lacking, but overall, we were happy with our stay.

The air conditioner kept the room comfortably cool, which was essential during my stay. Additionally, the beds provided decent support for a restful night.
While the positives exist, the overall experience didn't meet my expectations.

Man, if you're into flavor town, hit up those local Japanese spots nearby! The grilled meat was fire! Plus, my a/c was new and chill. That helped balance out the experience.
Cable? Ha! I’m stuck with only 6 channels in my room, and it's freezing due to the draft from the door. What gives?

missingWrote a review on Mar 03quiet getawayeasy accessgreat locationfilthy room
Being off the beaten path makes this place a quiet hideaway, perfect for writing or catching up on sleep. The easy access to Interstate 55 ensures quick getaways without tons of traffic hassles.
Check-in dragged on for 15 minutes with a filthy room waiting for me. The TV tuned out into static, and awkward showerhead noises echoed like a dying creature. The towels felt like sandpaper, and it was frustrating that room service only showed up every other day, leaving trash piling up. Accessing hot water was a hit-or-miss situation, which can be a downer during cold winter nights.
