Our experience was troubling from the start. The room we stayed in had such low standards. there were dirty linens and a heavy smoke odor in a nonsmoking room. To make matters worse, the furniture was broken, and we found moldy walls in the bathroom, which made us feel quite unsafe during our stay.

I found the hotel to be perfectly situated just moments away from notable sites such as the Lincoln Home National Historic Site and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, which made my weekend strolls enjoyable and enriching, as I could easily immerse myself in the rich history of Springfield without worrying about transportation.
